I finally had my 1st encounter with a non-athlete star that I recognized. Late last night, I was standing at the walk through metal detector when Danny Glover walked up to my lane. I had to ask him to remove his shoes but he said he had to go through additional screening anyway. Sure enough, he walked in and alarmed. Looks like he has a hip or knee replacement. Who knew?
Danny Glover is best known for being Mel Gibson's co-star in Lethal Weapon. I've never watched those movies, but I definitely knew who he was. It was pretty cool. Everyone stopped and stared.

ReplyDeleteNice talking to you. Hope you get your pictures and rental car figured out. I did read your entry about Danny Glover. I recognize him from the photo, but I don't know if I would in real life. Do you suppose he got all that hardware from his movies? Probably not; they have stunt doubles for that.
I've seen a few celebs in street clothes in public places and am always shocked at how decrepid they look...usually shrunken with lined faces. Those make-up experts can do wonders.
Hope you get a reprieve from Vegas before long.

He actually looked a lot like he does in the movies, except thinner. As for getting a reprieve from Vegas, looks like that's not going to happen for awhile. I might be here until the end of September (at least until the end of August).
