Coming Home...I think!
I don't want to make any promises, especially after the last couple weeks, but it looks like I'll be coming home (FINALLY!) on Tuesday, Sept. 30. I'm due to arrive at 7:00 PM. Can't wait to see everyone. I might have to work a day or two before I start my vacation, but I'm really looking forward to being home for at least a couple weeks. This is normally a slow time of year for deployments so hopefully I'll get to take my whole vacation. See you all soon!

Hooray! If only it's true. I've been seeing lots of TV coverage on Galveston and thought you might be there fighting fires--or maybe mucking out the Galveston airport. Looking forward to seeing you. Love, Dad
